Forked Lightning Racquet Club is a private membership club currently accepting new members for a limited time. Starting January 1, 2026, there is a $2,500 initiation fee ($1,000 for junior/young adults under 30, and Active Duty Military and Veterans). Once initiated, members will use our Forked Lightning mobile app and online member portal to book tennis, pickleball, and padel courts, as well as register for clinics and youth programs. Potential members are welcome to drop by during business hours to view our facilities, or book ahead to schedule a tour.

Individual Membership
$180 Month / $2,500 Initiation Fee

One convenient monthly membership rate for individuals:

Military Discount: Active Duty or Veteran's: Initiation Fee reduced to $1,000. $180 Month.

To further the First Serve New Mexico's mission of supporting New Mexico's youth, all proceeds from FLRC go toward supporting First Serve's initiative.

Payments: All payments are through a secure payment system. Payment profile changes can be set up under your name on the top right after you create your account. Your month-to-month membership will start upon enrollment.

Family Membership:
$235 Month / $2,500 Initiation Fee
One convenient monthly membership rate for families with dependents. Family dependents are defined as spouses / domestic partners and their dependent children under the age of 18. Full time college students under the age of 26 are also considered family dependents. Any other extended family member, even if they are residing in the same household, are not considered a family dependent. The primary member may be required to provide proof of all dependents status upon request.

Membership & Dues

At FLRC we are paperless. No statements will be sent out. Members will be required to have a credit card on file for all charges including member dues or any incidental charges incurred through club activities. Club bills will be automatically charged on the first of the month.
Collection of fees will be subject to a 25% charge if credit card is not kept current and could involve suspension of club privileges.
To re-activate a canceled membership, an initiation fee will be required to re-join the club.
Membership Dues cannot be suspended or memberships put on hiatus.
Memberships are not transferable.
Medical Leave: A member may take “medical leave” for no less than 2 months and no more than 6 months. Members on medical leave will be charged half of their monthly dues while on medical leave. A doctor's note is required.
All primary club members must be 21 years old or older.

Court Reservations

Outdoor Courts

All courts can be reserved 3 days in advance, beginning at 8:00 AM.
Outdoor tennis, pickleball, and padel court reservations are complimentary with your membership.
Members must cancel at least 4 hours in advance so others may use the court.
Repeated no-shows without cancellation may result in temporary booking restrictions and/or fees.
Court reservations are forfeited 15 minutes after the reservation time.
Courts typically can be reserved for no more than 1.5 hours.
Members can drop in and play on an open outdoor court any time during business hours, if a court is available. Members can also play past their reservation, if the court is available (outdoor courts only).
Proper tennis shoes (flat-soles that will not scuff the court) and attire are required on court.Cancellations due to inclement weather are permitted without penalty.

Indoor Courts

Indoor Tennis and Pickleball court time is billed at the hourly rate of $40 per hour
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full credit or refund. (If the Indoor court is re-booked, member will not be charged)
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full unless the club is able to rebook the court.
Court reservations are forfeited 15 minutes after the reservation time.
No-shows are charged the full court fee.
Proper tennis shoes (flat-soles that will not scuff the court) and attire are required on court.

Club & Guest Rules Policies

Guest Privileges:
Each membership, whether individual or family receives 4 complimentary guest passes per calendar year, which include full use of the facility and courts.
Guest Frequency:
The same guest may visit the club no more than twice per year, regardless of who invites them.
Additional Passes:
Members may purchase extra guest passes for $50 per guest.
Member Responsibility:
Guests must be accompanied by their sponsoring member at all times. Members are responsible for all applicable court, clinic, or program fees associated with their guest’s visit.
Members and their guests are required to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner.
All members and their guests must check in at the front desk and comply with any fees necessary before taking the court.
Members that do not check in their guests will be billed for a guest fee. A penalty may be imposed for members who repeatedly do not check in their guests.
Guests are not permitted unless accompanied by a member.
Proper tennis shoes (flat-soles that will not scuff the court) and attire are required on court.
Players must wear shirts. Proper court attire is required.
No dogs or pets are allowed on Club grounds, except for trained service animals.
Outside Food and Beverage is not permitted, except for water and sports beverages.
Member ball machines are not allowed for use at the club. FLRC has multiple ball machines that are available for $10.00 per hour.
